The ES'OPE "EnergieSprong by Operene" project aims to develop a catalogue of global industrial solutions to accelerate the renovation of individual and collective housing in France. The envelope of the experimental house located on the INES site was renovated in less than 6 days, and this is only the first trial!

After the design and prototyping phases, the time has come for the first implementation with the installation of cladding modules integrating windows, roofing and energy on a full-scale experimental house on the INES site. The objective of this stage is to evaluate the envelope elements with regard to the expected functions, and the installation time to meet the economic objectives. The installation of all the prefabricated cladding modules took 5 and half days for this first trial. It enabled to identify areas for improvement in the prefabrication and the installation system.

The ES'OPE project, launched in the spring of 2018 for a 5-year program, is supported within the Plan d'Investissement d'Avenir operated by the ADEME (French Environment and Energy Management Agency). It is based on a consortium made up of the companies Chanel (project coordinator), Enertech, Eolya, IRFTS, Lorillard, Operene, Rosaz Energies and a CEA laboratory at INES.
