Journées européennes du Solaire
Du 2012-05-01 au 2012-05-13
The ESTIF and EPIA, European associations representative of photovoltaic and solar thermal industry announce that the fifth edition of the European solar days will have place 1 to 13 may 2012. A series of events will be organized in the European countries to promote the use of solar energy. 24 participants, mainly industrial associations, 16 countries have agreed to contribute to interactive exhibitions, conferences, debates, etc. Last year, 8 000 events were organized in this campaign, which was attended by several non-EU countries: Switzerland, Norway, Serbia and Ukraine. The initiative was followed by in France and in Germany with 500 events organized in both countries. The project is supported by the Commission in respect of the "Intelligent Energy Europe" programme.
