The Team Rhône-Alpes won Solar Decathlon Europe 2012!
The Team Rhône-Alpes , driven by INES, the architecture school of Grenoble (ENSAG) and the "Grands Ateliers of the Isle d'Abeau" won yesterday the international competition Solar Decathlon Europe 2012 in Madrid with its innovative Canopea® project. After winning the prize 'Architecture', the team has won the 'Innovation', the 'Comfort Conditions', the 'House Functioning' as well as second place in the jurys 'Communication' and 'Industrialization and market viability'. With 908,72 points the team ahead of the Patio 2.12 project (897,39 pts) and Med in Italy (863,49 pts). Solar Decathlon Europe 2012 The Team Rhône-Alpes has won the Architecture award
The Team Rhône-Alpes, driven by the INES, the architecture school of Grenoble (ENSAG) and the Grands Ateliers of the Isle d'Abeau (GAIA), is currently in the running for the international competition Solar Decathlon Europe 2012 until September 30rd.
The team has won the Architecture Award delivered by international experts Susana Torre, Mario Cucinella and José María Lapuerta Montoya. The urban-scale of the project Canopea®, its complexity as well as its feasibility have been particularly appreciated.
