The 20 teams of Solar Decathlon 2014 have been selected!
The Solar Decathlon Europe 2014 which INES is a partner, has chosen on 19th December its 20 teams who will be allowed to compete at Versailles in June/July 2014.
The choice was not easy because 44 applications had been sent from around the world. In total, 17 countries and 3 continents will be represented during this unique academic competition.
These 20 teams now have 18 months to work in the design, manufacturing and realisation of their respective project, which will be assembled and presented to the Château de Versailles. Thus the teams must take up the challenge to design and build fully autonomous solar house.
In case of withdrawal of one or more teams in the phase of preparation, and in accordance with the rules of the Solar Decathlon, the French organizing committee has selected a complementary list of 7 teams.
